On photography

As life is unpredictable, fast and slow,
As all we are or have can change drastically in a blink of an eye,
it’s a privilege to stop that single moment
catch it
keep it!
“The decisive moment”as Cartier-Bresson called it
Photography is practically suspended second in the air, in time, in place
The image can bring picturesque, aesthetic,  political, ethnical topics
But at the end 
the picture stands on it’s own
As art does
it speaks to the eye, mind, heart of the observer
it makes us part of something
Moments are gone forever,
Pictures make them live forever
